Yes, 2010 may be an explosive one on this little island in the North Atlantic as many volcanoes in Iceland are overdue to erupt, namely Mount Hekla in south Iceland.
Icelanders are eagerly awaiting the eruption and you can monitor the goings on from your living room via the webcam click here.
But for those of you who want to get out there and see the eruption first-hand register with our Volcano hotline (click here) and whenever there is an eruption in Iceland we run special trips. In the past we've managed to get people viewing the activities at close hand, usually within 24-48hrs of the eruption beginning.
So if, like me, you are fascinated by the natural world then Iceland will be your paradise - don't miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
