Beatle mania will hit Iceland on the 5th of October as former band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr attend the unvailing of Yoko Ono's Imagine Peace Tower. The Tower will be situated on Viday Island off Reykjavik and will be unvailed on the 9 of October to celebrate John Lennon's birthday.
The former Beatles are expected to stay at the world famous Hotel Borg.
This Hotel is by no means a stranger to the limelight, with numerous celebrities, politicians and even royalty listed amongst its former guests!
The Imagine Peace Tower is set to stand as a beacon of light, which Ono believes signifies peoples wishes for peace and unity. The light is going to shine every year on Lennons birthday, October 9th and on the anniversary of his death, December 8th.
