"LOVE ICELAND"
There are some absolutely fantastic shots of Iceland by Nicola and Michael Hardy a.k.a "Headily Charmed", who travelled to the land of fire and ice for their honeymoon in early August with Discover the World. The pictures are currently on the Flickr website. They've really captured the best of the island's natural wonders from Vatnajokull, Gulfoss and Selfoss waterfalls to Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon. "OUR BUS CLIMBS LIKE A MOUNTAIN GOAT..."
We've also had a great Iceland blog from Martin Pauc who travelled with Discover the World. The pictures he took were absolutely stunning and his blog was superb, I found it quite humorous! My favourite picture is the one of the rainbow over Skogafoss but there are many more fab shots!
Day 5 - our bus climbs like a mountain goat...Today we travelled over “vast glacial outwash plains (says the tour itinerary) and first visited another spectacular waterfall called Skogafoss - just look at the cute rainbow !!!
