Reykjavík Arts Festival kicks off

The 20th Reykjavík Arts Festival started today with an opening ceremony at the Reykjavík Municipal Theatre. This year’s festival focuses on music, with approximately 50 events taking place featuring some 600 artists, nearly 400 of them Icelandic.  The festival will be held until June 2nd.

Highlights include the opening of the Settlement Exhibition, which is based on archaeological finds in Reykjavík.  More details on this shortly!
